Jerry Angelo Brooks, better known as J.B Smoove is an American actor and stand-up comedian, who was born on December 14, 1965, and is currently 51 years of age.

He was born in Plymouth, North Carolina, United States and grew up in New York City. He is a graduate of the Norfolk State University where he shortened his name to J.B after he started performing stand-up comedy.

An American by nationality, J.B belongs to a black ethnicity.

J.B is a tall man, who has got a very good height of about 188 cm. That is about 6 feet and 2 inches tall, and his last recorded body weight was around 95 kg.

That is a proper weight for someone of his height, and it suits him very well. Not a very fat person, he has an average athletic body and has got very well toned muscles and is a regular member at the gym.

In 2007, he was also nominated for the Writers Guild of America, 2007 for best comedy/ writing, etc. He then started to play in movies, and some of his famous works are in Hall Pass, The Sitter, We Bought a Zoo, With or Without You, Pootie Tang, Mr. Deeds, Date Night, The Dictator, A Haunted House, and Clear History.

Apart from those, he has also started in some TV shows like Till Death, The Gong Show with Dave Attell, Comedy Central, American Dad, etc. In 2014, he hosted the reality TV show Last Comic Standing.
