Valentin Aleksandrovich Chmerkovskiy is a Ukrainian professional dancer and well-known for his appearances on ABC’s Dancing WithThe Stars.

Valentin (Val) Chmerkovskiy was born in Odessa (Ukraine) on March 24, 1986. He is the son of Aleksandr and Larry Chmerkovskiy.

He has one elder brother named Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Being a Ukrainian nationality, at the age of seven, Val found his passion for dancing, and by the age of twelve years old, he attended The German Open with his brother Masks, who were the only two United States couples there.

Val became first American to win IDSF World Championship when he was 15 years old. Val has won US Championship for fourteen times over his 15-year dance career.

Valentin is a multi-talented personality. He opened “Dance with me” studio with Maskim, and Tony Dovolani, in Samford, Connecticut on April 16th of 2012.

Val is also known as “Val C.” for his rap career, which can be found as “White Boy Boogie” on YouTube. Val also plays the violin and has released one album, titled “Val” to date, which can be heard on his official website.

Valentin of Ukraine ethnicity started his Dancing with the Stars’ career as Maskim’s student on season 2, February 10, 2006.

During his career on Dancing with the Stars, He paired with season 1 winner, Kelli Monaco; Disney Channel’s ‘Shake it up’ star, Zendaya; film and television actress, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren; actress and author, Danica Mckellar; and another actress from ‘Pretty Little Liars,' Janel Parrish.

When they were questioned whether the other one had been featured in a dream, Van quipped by saying “Not a dream, a few nightmares.” They claim never to have gone out to dinner alone together, although Val has kissed Parrish on the lips.

Val has a large LGBT fan base. In his interview, he answers that he is humbled by their love and support and knows about the loves and supports towards the art of the gay community. And for him, it is a very big compliment.

Val has his physiques through continual grueling workouts on Dancing with The Stars. On this season in DWTS Val and his pair, Cheryl Burke showed their hot body after rehearsing for the show, where Val was shirtless, and Cheryl was in a thigh-skimming orange playsuit while leaving the Hollywood studios.

If Val was married and had a wife, we could claim their relationship was going nowhere. But Cheryl is not a single to be in engaged to Val either.
