Halley Elizabeth Atwell is an English actress, who was born on the 5th of April, 1982 (her current age is 34 years old) in London, England.

She was born as the only child to mother Allison and father Grant Atwell. Her mom used to work as a motivational speaker, and her daddy was a massage therapist as well as a photographer.

It is also believed that her father had abilities to connect to the spiritual world and send or receive messages to/ from the dead ones. He had practiced as a shaman for more than one time.

Her father was an American, and her mother was a British. Therefore Halley has a double citizenship. At a young age of 2, she had to go through a tough time as her parents separated.

She went on to live with her mom, and as a child went to Sion-Manning Roman Catholic Girls' School. After she had completed her school level, she joined London Oratory School and did her A-levels.

She has played in a lot of movies, and her recent role was that of Peggy Carter in Captain America: The First Avenger. She was also seen in the role of Agent Carter in 2013’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier. 

She had the same role in TV shows: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. She will also be presented in the same role in Avengers: Age of Ultron, which will release in 2015.
