Hugh Anthony Cregg III; better known by his stage name Huey Lewis is an American singer, songwriter as well as an actor. He was born on the 5th of July 1950 in New York City, United States and was the son of Hugh Anthony Cregg, Jr. as well as Maria Magdalena.

Having had an early interest in music, he started to write his own words as well as make his own music.

Gradually, he started to perform his songs and recorded them, which made him a star during the 70s. Having worked with the band “Clover” from the start towards the end of the 70s, he is currently with “Huey Lewis and the News”.
