Robert Earl Moore, best known as Ahmad Rashad is one of the popular American sportscaster and former professional football player. Rashad has been so popular in his career because of his playing and many rumors on him. Rashad has been a wide receiver and has played for Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings. Talking about his early life, he was born on November 19, 1949 in Portland, Oregon. From his childhood days, he showed interest in sports and above all, he loved playing football. Rashad played high school football in Tacoma, Washington. After graduating from Mount Tahoma High School, Rashad joined the University of Oregon in Eugene with an athletic scholarship. Under head coach Jerry Frei, he played football for the Ducks. In November 1970, Rashad was charged with felony theft where he pleaded culpable to a condensed charge in early 1971.

After his football career, he appeared as a broadcaster by covering NFL, NBA, Major League Baseball. He also appeared as a sports reporter for ABC and NBC. He has also appeared in many tv shows with a guest appearance with his then-wife Phylicia. He has appeared in an episode of Monsters. In early 2013, Rashad appeared on the Golf Channel on the daily talk show Morning Drive as a panelist.

Again in 1976, Rashad married his second wife Matilda Johnson. With her he has a daughter Maiyisha born in 1976 and a son named Ahmad Jr. born in 1978. He had a divorce with his second wife in 1979.

He had a stepson Billy Bowles and a daughter, Condola Phylea Rash?d with her. Rashad still had no good relation with her third wife so he had a divorce with her after sixteen years of marriage. Again in 2007, Rashad married Sale Johnson as his fourth wife. He has three stepdaughters from this marriage and adopted Sale Johnson's granddaughter. This couple had a divorce in 2013. Though Rashad had no stable relation with his wives, he is not a gay.
