Vince Russo, also known as “Vinnie Ru” or “Vic Venom” is an American professional wrestler as well as an analyst; who is known for his work and influential participation in all of the main stages of pro wrestling; World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and World Wrestling Federation (WWF). A good athlete, he spent over 20 years of his career in the ring; fighting and beating many world class athletes and wrestlers and winning championship titles. He also holds a record of being defeating only in counts and has never known to have submitted or tapped out in front of his opponents. Apart from fights and brawls, he has also had a career as a writer and was in TNA’s team of creative writers for the show. Likewise, he has also written a book; his autobiography named “Forgiven: One Man's Journey from Self-Glorification to Sanctification”, which became published in 2005. 5 years later, she released his second boon, named “Rope Opera: How WCW Killed Vince Russo”.
Vince Russo was born as Vincent James Russo on the 24th of January, 1961 in New York City, New York, United States of America. He was born in a middle class family, and has got Italian ethnicity as his father’s side originated in Sicily. Not much information is out, regarding his early life or family details and it can be said that he seemed to have a fairly easy childhood. Growing up in New York, he attended the University of Southern Indiana from which he graduated in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. He wanted to become a reporter and has also worked briefly as the editor in chief of “The Shield”; which was a sports illustrated magazine generated by his University. His desire to wrestle came after he trained well under former wrestler Johnny Rodz, in a gym in Brooklyn. He also used to work in the radio where he ran his own show Vicious Vincent's World of Wrestling; every Sunday night between 1992 and 1993. There were some rumors in the past that said Russo was sexually gay, but that is nowhere near true.
Russo acquired a tough body during his time at Gleason's Gym in Brooklyn and as you can see in his matches; he has got a well-shaped physique.
