Kristin Davis is an American actress. She is popularly known for the HBO television series The Sex and the City, and Sex and the City movies. 

The 51 years old actress started her career by acting in few episodes of the TV show drama General Hospital. She got her big break in the TV show nighttime drama Melrose Place.

In Melrose Place, she played as the villainess named Brooke Armstrong Campbell who was popular in his day. She gained recognition with Melrose Place and got offers for an appearance in several TV shows such as Friends, Will and Grace and Seinfeld.

In 1998, she signed and played for Sex and the City, an HBO series. She played the role of the naïve and fiercely optimistic character of Charlotte York.

From 1998 to 2004 she consistently played the series. Fans of Kristin still recognize her as The Sex and the City’s Charlotte. She has done appearances in other television shows as well which include Will and Grace, Bad Teacher, and Sex and the Matrix.

Not only in television, but she also charmed film industry with her roles. She has done movies including Sour Grapes, Atomic Train, The Shaggy Dog, Deck the Hall, Sex and the City: The Movie, Couples Retreat, Sex and the City 2, and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island among others.      

She has been honored with many awards and critics reviews in her professional life. She got the prestigious Emmy Award nomination for her role in Sex and the City television series.

She has got the Screen Actors Guild Award for outstanding performance for the same show. Moreover, she was awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award in 1999 with her co-stars of the same series.   

Moving on to her personal life, Kristin was born February 4, 1965, in Colorado, U.S. She was raised in Colorado by her stepfather and her mother. Her father and her mother got divorced when Kristin was still a baby.  

She was very enthusiastic in acting from a very young age. She wanted to be an actress from the very beginning and also was cast in the Workshop Theatre production of the Snow White story at the age of nine.  She studied and graduated from Rutgers University, New Jersey, with a bachelor of fine arts.

The sex and the city actress have a slender body. Her body is banana shaped with body measurements 34-25-35 inches. She stands five feet six inch tall, and her weight is 54 kg.

The actress’ tall height suits her small banana build. She never fails to look gorgeous and sexy in any dress that she wears for parties, events, and award shows.

Kristin struggled with alcoholism. With an interview with Maire Claire, she revealed that she was a heavy alcoholic. She used to drink too much when she was young and free.

And she gives credit for her enthusiasm and passion for acting that helped her to let go of her drinking habit.

Her net worth is estimated at a whopping $60 million.
