Song Hye-Kyo is one of the beautiful and talented South Korean actress born on November 22, 1981, in Daegu, South Korea. She grew up with her mother. Song's parents divorced when she was a young girl.

She moved from Daegu to the Gangnam District in Seoul, where she qualified as a figure skater in elementary school, but she gave up when she was in her eighth grade.

Though Song often measures herself as shy and reserved, her former high school teacher has described her as a girl with a smiling nature with a dazzling personality, who could easily blend with everyone in her friend’s circle.

And this self-proclaimed shy natured girl later gained popularity, via her acting in TV shows such as The Wind Blows, Full House, All In, Full House, and Autumn in My Heart. She has also appeared in numerous movies.

Talking about the beginning of her career in the showbiz, Song first started out as a model. She won the first position in the SunKyung Smart Model competition in 1996 when she was just 14 years old.

And after that, she started modeling for the school uniform company. This helped to gain a tiny part in her first small screenplay, First Love.

She continued working in a variety of dramas and sitcoms, most notably Soonpoong Clinic. But she gained the ultimate fame from KBS drama Autumn in My Heart in 2000 with Song Seung-Heon and Won Bin. The TV show helped her to rise to the level of several other high profile celebrities in Korea and throughout the Asia.

Now talking about her personal life, Song began dating performer Lee Byung-hun in 2003. They fell in love while the duo was filming, All In. Their hook up and break up became a scoop for tabloid magazines and the media. This unexpected and heartbreaking event led the lovely actress to vow never to mix up her personal and private life. During an interview with The Dong-a Ilbo in 2008, the actress stated:

"The viewers suddenly learned, while in the midst of watching a drama I was acting in, that I was somebody’s girlfriend. In the end, this was an obstacle and only served to create a sense of dislike among viewers."

She later dated an actor, Hyun Bin in 2009 but they spilled in 2011. She is said to be dating actor Song Joong-ki, her co-star from Descendants of the Sun but neither of the parties have confirmed it.

Song, being one of the most talented and sought out actresses in South Korea, she a very active endorser in Korea and has done a lot of TV commercials.

And why wouldn’t she get so many endorsements? After all, she is very attractive with the height five feet three inches and she has got a face of an angel. She is the popular face of Levi's LADY Style.
