Will Bill Kreutzmann, Jr. formally known, as Bill Kreutzmann is an American drummer born on May 7, 1946 in Palo Alto, California, US. He devoted his 30 years of drumming career for the rock band The Grateful Dead and has huge reputation in Drums. He is the Eldest son of Janice Beryl and William Kreutzmann. His ancestors were from Germany but he is an American citizen and belongs to white ethnicity. He has a German descent while he speaks but he has never been to ancestors’ country once. He also plays drums for his own bands like BK3, 7 Walkers and Billy & the Kids. Apart from drumming Bill is very fond in digital art and has also produced a movie documentary in 1995. He loves to kayaking and rest in beaches with his wife and family in leisure time.

He started drumming at the age of 13 but his music teacher that he could not keep a beat discouraged him. In 1964 he founded the band with Phil Lesh, Ron McKernan and Jerry Garcia named THE WARLOCKS. They started to perform on bars and other events as they used to get chance. This local band became The Grateful Dead in the year 1965 with their long-term vision and understanding. His close friend Mickey Hart joined the band in 1967, which had big impact on Kreutzmann's career. They soon became popular band with two featured drummers. Their bonding was great, so was their music when played together. They became more and more popular when they started to tour form 1978 to 1995, which has been documented. Their lengthy drum became inspiration for many people and started to follow Grateful Dead wherever they go and perform.  Grateful Dead came into halt after their band member Garcia was dead in 1995 and then he started to pursue his own plans. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the year 1994 and won a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.

Kreutzmann has been very private and silent personality throughout his career. He was never spotted dating any lady and during his entire career he never disclosed details about his girlfriend. Standing tall with an impressive height of 5 feet 11 inches and is 79 kg of weight; Kreutzmann was definitely man to watch during mid 60's to mid 80's. Because of his private and personal life he was assumed gay by many of his followers and media but he never talked about these shit's. Kreutzmann is a married man and has two children from his relationship. He currently resides in Kauai, Hawaii with his family and is working in digital arts. In 2006 he formed the Rhythm Devils and started to play songs composed by Robert Hunter. He also helped composing music for the band alongside guitarist Steve Kimock. Kreutzmann is a family life and is very happy with his personal life. There has not been any rumor about his divorce till today and his son Justin has faith in his parent’s relationship.

As in 2014 his net worth was exactly $25 million dollars according to Forbes Magazines. This gentleman can be followed via twitter and his own blogs.
