He also appeared in the HBO movies like By Dawn's Early Light and Into the Homeland. He has played the challenging role of traitor Navy Officer John Walker in the CBS- TV film Family of Spies in 1990. In the 1980 series Skag he plays the role of Whalen. In the series the lead character Skag played by Karl Malden suffers from stroke.
