Francis Thomas Avallone, better known as Frankie Avallone is an American artist: actor, singer, writer as well as a former teen idol. He first started out as a singer, appearing in The Jackie Gleason Show at just 11 years of age. Some of his first songs like "Venus" and “Why” were the Billboard hits of 1959 and between 1958 to 1962, his 31 songs had been in the Billboard Hot 100 singles.
