Mark Thomas Tremonti is an American musician and also a singer and song-writer who was born on April 18, 1974 in Detroit, Michigan and his current age is 41. He has a tall height with 1.85m and ethnicity is Italian. He is best known as the lead guitarist of the rock bands “Alter Bridge” and “Creed”. He was raised up in an Italian Roman and Catholic family in a place called Grosse Pointe. They moved to Wilmette, Illinois later. He began to have craze for music so he bought a guitar when he was eleven. His family moved to Orlando, Florida when he was eleven years old. He attended Lake Highland Preparatory School there. His mother was diagnosed during this time, which left Tremonti devastated. He moved to Clemson, South California and attended Clemson University after graduation to major in finance. He again moved to Florida to attend in Florida State University.
He is a founding member of an American hard rock band called ‘Creed’ which was formed by himself with lead vocalist, Scott Stapp in the year 1993 with his fellow members, Brian Marshall and Scott Philips who were the bassist and drummer of the band. The band released their first debut ‘My Own Prison’ in the year 1997 which got a fine success and sold over six million copies. With it, four other singles: “Torn”, “My Own Prison”, “One” and “What’s This Life For”. Each one of these songs peaked to number one position at the Billboard’s Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The song, My prison was certified diamond and also eleven times platinum by the ‘RIAA’. Some of the band releases were “With Arms Wide Open”, “Higher”, “What If” and “Are You Ready”.
In 2001, the band also won a Grammy for Best rock song for “With Arms Wide Open”. After a tour, the band released another multi platinum selling album called “Weathered”. Their tour for this record was a massive success but it ended with a controversial concert and the band broke up. They announced that the band ended in 2004 because of the rough relation within the members. But after few months, the band united for a tour and a new release despite of their past claims. In 2009, the band organized a record-breaking concert film called ‘Creed Live’. A fifth Creed album was reported to be released in the late 2011 o earl 2012 in accordance to Tremonti. When Creed was about to split up in the 2000s, Tremonti thought of forming a speed metal side project called ‘Downshifter’ but it never got off the ground.
He got married to his girlfriend, Victoria Rodriguez on December 14, 2002. They were dating for quite long time. The couple has two children, specifically, two sons.
