Introduction to Joy

Joy Ann Reid is one of the most promising and dedicated television host and liberal political commentator in America right now. She is currently working as the managing editor of Grio.com. Meanwhile, she also contributes at MSNBC.

Born on 1968 in America, her career started in 1998. Her interest in political and social situations made her a perfect television host and writer. She was hired by MSNBC on January 27, 2014, to host her show named The Reid Report.

She graduated from Harvard University in 1991 and had been working and studying in the field of journalism ever since. She has also been working as a political columnist for The Miami Herald and the editor of a political blog named The Reid Report. 

Joy’s inspiration

She has been totally affected by the civil war prevailing in the United States and the discrimination against colored people. Her entire focus is to make the society a better place to live and share each other's idea for the better future.

She still remembers an incident when she was 12 years old; her mother shouted from their apartment to ask who is on the television right now. There was a black man, and there was huge gossip in her society. That period in the US was awful. People were discriminated due to their race. Her desire is to change that mindset and live together.

Her awareness program about abortion and women's dilemma got a lot of attention and the policy teamwork in the parliament.

Joy Ann Reid is one of the few black journalists to be working at the MSNBC and has been very successful. Her ideas and presentation have gained tremendous attention. She has been covering many topics on her show and has been appreciated for her efforts.

Success in the career

She has been very popular on the social networking sites. She has been found uploading contents of her show on Facebook and Twitter. She does have her persona blog and personal website.  

She currently lives with her family in her apartment. Her other investments have not been disclosed as of yet. In her long career, she has never been fired.

Her professional life has been a huge success. With huge salary accumulated in years, her net worth has reached a total of $1.5 Million. She has previously worked with The South Florida Times, Radio One, America Coming Together and many other organizations, which she has not disclosed. She worked as a junior staff before she officially began her career in 1998.

Joy Reid has never been known to be dating a lot of men and is not known as a flirtatious with her boyfriends.  Her personal life is a bit of a mystery!

She stands tall with a height of 5 feet 9 inches. A person does not need to be beautiful to be admired. Their personality speaks for them. She has a great personality and a sexy body with hot long legs.

At the Age of 48, she still works hard and is dedicated in her field of work. But there must be someone who she shares all her stories with. She has someone; it is her husband, Jason Reid. We can’t tell about how their relation is going, but we wish there would be no divorce.

Why did Joy-Ann kick J.D. Hayworth out of her show?

When Hayworth tried to guide the show with just his views, he had to be stopped. He basically monopolized the show and Joy rose to fury. His mindset on racism and ethnicity was highly evident. Reid kept herself calm for a long time till she could take it no more.

On asking about an arrest of an immigrant, J.D. turned the question and answered it in terms of a fifteen-year-old who was savagely attacked. He told he was more concerned about laws being broken and violence rather than of cases where people haven’t obeyed the immigration laws.

She even made attempts to bring the conversation on track but things didn’t go well. She had to end the segment in rage. This is one of the most talked incident in Joy’s career.
