Alexander Richard "Alex" Pettyfer was born on the 10th of April 1990 (his current age is 26 years old) in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England. His mother Lee Ireland was an interior decorator, and his father Richard Pettyfer was an actor.

Born as the only child, he has a half- brother from his mother’s side. He attended the local The Mall School, and later transferred to Lambrook Haileybury School in Berkshire.

There, he was very interested in acting stage plays. He had portrayed the role of Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk and Robin in The Adventures of Robin Hood. 

Gaining confidence at such young age helped him achieve many things. After graduating from Shiplake College, he went to London to train at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. He is a Christian by religion and belongs to white ethnicity.

Alex is a very fit man, strong and good looking. As a model, it is his job to stay fit and presentable at all times, and so far he has done it properly.

He has been dating a Dutch model Marloes Horst recently. Before that, he had dated actress Emma Roberts, after they met on the set of film Wild Child in 2007.

After they had broken up, he dated actress Diana Argon between 2010 and 2011, after working on Beastly. In 2012, he was engaged to Riley Keough who happens to be the daughter of Rock N’ Roll artist Elvis Presley.

Currently, he isn’t married and has no children till date. He is certainly not gay. When asked about his tattoo initials about Emma Roberts in an interview, he said "I don't know how to say it, she's a lovely, lovely girl, we had a spell of something that is over now, but we're on good terms. She's beautiful; she's great; we're really good friends.”

Apart from modeling, he had also been acting in some movies and TV shows. His work has made him popular all around the world, making him millions fan worldwide.
