Finn Jones is an actor of British nationality. He is best known for his role in the famous HBO series Game of Thrones. He plays Ser Loras Tyrell, The Knight of Flowers.

Finn was born March 24, 1988, in England. His real name is not Finn, its Terry (Terence) Jones. He changed his screen name to Finn Jones because he didn’t want to be confused with Terry Jones (a member of a comedy group Monty Python). He was raised by his parents in Bromley, London. His father works in the police and mother works in foster care.

Finn Jones has a height of six feet. He looks tall with a small build. Just 26 years old, Finn is not married. There has been no information till now about his dating life or any of his affairs. It seems like Games of Thrones has made Finn so busy that he has no time for a girlfriend or a wife or even a gay partner.

From a very young age, Jones was interested in acting. He was trained at The Arts Educational School in London. After three years of extensive acting course, he graduated from ArtsEd. Soon after, he landed a role in Hollyoaks Later, a British television spinoff. At that time, he was only 21. Finn says that his role in Hollyoaks Later was crazy.

Coming back to Game of Thrones, the show has taught him a lot. He says he gets noticed by fans these days, compared to the days when he was not doing Game of Thrones. He is euphoric with the recognition the series has given him and the love which he gets from the fans. He even gets love letters from both male and female fans.

After his success, he never stopped. He started to act in one TV series after another, Doctors, Doctor Who, and The Bill. He has indeed gained many good reviews, some critics, a lot of experience and some great acting skills while performing in these television shows.

His role in Game of Thrones depicts him as homosexual. In real life, Finn is a gay rights advocate. He appeared on the cover of Gay Times’ magazine, shirtless with only a speedo and a winter coat. He gave an interview in the magazine related to gay issues.

After playing a homosexual role, he is happy that gay characters are being portrayed. He has received a strong reaction from the gay community as they are happy with Game of Thrones.

Apart from having millions of fans and getting a good set experience, he says Game of Thrones gives him a good family vibe. He has made wonderful friends there. The series earns him a huge amount of money even though his net worth is not mentioned anywhere.

Other than acting, his interests include books, nature, and music. He loves Joseph Campbell’s books. Whenever Jones is free, he reads Campbell’s books to freshen up the mind.

He is very much into music. He is a DJ and a member of ‘Human Effort’, a London-based collective. Moreover, he loves nature. He loves exploring the world and particularly loves Australia when it comes to exploring and getting lost.

He has also tried his hands at a few movies. Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines was his first movie ever. Since then, he has done two more: The Last Showing and Sleeping Beauty.
