Actress and author Tatum O’Neal is widely known as the youngest person ever to win an Oscar for the movie Paper Moon released in 1973.

She was just ten years when she got the award. Moreover, she is famous for her roles in movies like Little Darlings, The Runaways, Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal among others. Her net worth is an estimated $7.5 million.

O’Neal was born November 5, 1963, in Los Angeles, California. Her career started at the age of 10 when she was just a baby, cast opposite to her father.

In her teenage years, she played more movies including The Bad News Bears, Nickelodeon, and Circle of Two. 

After about 15 years she appeared on the screen but this time on television. She appeared on many TV shows including Sex and the City, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Rescue Me, and Wicked Games.

Apart from acting and appearing in these shows, she did a commentary for the series of Entertainment Tonight. She also participated in Dancing with the Stars.

Apart from being an actor, her interest in writing made her write few books. She wrote her biography where she exposed the dark side of her childhood years while growing up.

The autobiography entitled A Paper Life, released in 2005, became the best seller in the United States. She again brought the writer to her to portray her life’s little incidents in the book Found: A Daughter’s Journey Home.

Tatum at the young age was very sexy and bold. She still looks gracious and classy as she is in her age of 52. Her body measurements are 34-26-32 inches. She has maintained her body structure even at this age.

She stands five feet five inch tall. Her height is quite small for an American actress, so she always wears high heels. The hot actress always dresses right showing off her hot neckline, toned body, and legs.

This is the consequence of following a very healthy diet plan and workout. 

Moving on to her personal life, she had made headlines in the late 1970s as she was dating the King of the Pop: Michael Jackson. O’Neal is believed to be Jackson’s first love. Their affair didn’t go that far.

In 1986, O’Neal married John McEnroe; her long-term boyfriend. McEnroe was a tennis player. They have three children together of which two are a son (Kevin and Sean) and one daughter (Emily).

O’Neal and her husband couldn’t hold on to their vows and separated in late 1992. After 2 years their relationship officially ended with divorce. The children are in McEnroe’s custody.

Tatum was a heroin addict. Her drug problems were in very much talk in the media. The reason for McEnroe and her divorce is also blamed for her drug problems.

And it was the same reason that the court was for McEnroe for the custody of their children. She was even arrested for buying drugs near Manhattan. This resulted in O’Neal spending two and a half day in a drug treatment program.
