Soon the day came when they mutually decided to accompany each other on their first date throwing "Friends with Benefits" card at each other - because everything was happening so soon.

However, they ended up dating each other. The Mexican well-built up man proposed Trina on the rooftop of the Georgian Teerace Hall, and she said yes. It is said that that Trina later swapped the ring as it didn’t appeal much to her.

Upon seeing Trina dancing on the stage of American Pie wearing a short dress, the Georgia State University computer information graduate decided to end his quest for “getting lucky.” Then, he came up with a plan, and that was glancing Trina all night drinking made-in-Mexico light flavored beer Coronas.

Unfortunately, at one point in time, the bar had to close. Trina approached him at that moment and asked him his motive.

Media reports that he answered her by saying something like- "Let’s go out to talk, could you take my beer out?"

She couldn't believe that boyfriend-turned-husband Gabe could get involved in such a thing called cyber sex and over and above that - with someone he met online. But, the reality proved her wrong.

Constant sobbing and brainstorming became her friends after the incident. Later, she decided to solve everything out by positive thinking. She tried to work out her relationship and mend the differences.

However, things couldn’t work out as she expected. The relationship went to such a serious tone that they always needed Dr. Sherry to even have a genuine conversation.

Gabe take on this issue was that he never cheated Trina, but he admitted that it was a mistake to approach girls on the media in an inappropriate manner.

If you remember, in one episode of the show Gabe said that it's very hard to mend things with Trina as Trina no longer trust him. He then said Trina is not encouraging his efforts to work things out. He hoped everything would work out, and we even saw him promising Trina that he will not repeat the same mistake again.

Trina takes on this issue is that she has given Gabe many chances, and he has disappointed her in almost all of the chances. The agreed upon reality is that Gabe cheated on Trina and Trina also couldn’t withstand the notion, so she cheated him as well. However, no one can say who cheated first except him or her.
