Mark LaMarr Thompson is an American radio host, a DJ, anchor and also is occasionally seen as an actor, although radio is more prominent for him. He is popular for his unique style of speaking, his funny accent tricks as well as his direct way of interviewing people, which his fans enjoy a lot. He began his career in the early 90s, with “The Mark & Brian Show” which became a smashing hit, along with his co-anchor Brian Phelps. That popularity proved to be the doorway to other opportunities, the first one being provided by NBC, which made a TV series The Adventures of Mark & Brian, based on whatever happened in the radio show. He also started to get roles in some movies as well, the first one being in Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday, which was the 9th sequel of the thriller Friday the 13th. He was also seen acting alongside Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews in the American drama film The Princess Diaries (2001). His role of Brian was in the TV film Mother Ghost, which he had written as well as acted in.

With over 25 years of work in the radio, his sudden decision to quit it on the 13th of June, 2012 came as a bit of surprise to his fans and even his family. Having hosted many important musical, sports and cinematic events in his life, he left the studio of KLOS radio and declared that he would have a new private studio in his house, which he would use to broadcast emergency and important updates only. Hosting The Mark & Lynda Podcast along with his wife, he made a return to radio in the February of 2015, with the talk show "Mark in the Morning", with KSWD station at 100.3 MHz. With his work in movies and TV shows, his fame got to new heights and he has had fans from different countries around the world. People have started to take interest in his personal life, and the search for his biography is at large, in sites like IMDb and Wikipedia. He is a follower of Christianity from his birth, and belongs to white ethnicity.

Mark was born in Florence, Alabama into a middle class family, and as a child wanted to become a musician. An American by nationality, he was born on the 1st of December, 1955 and in 2015, his current age is 60 years old. With not much known about his past life, he is a graduate of University of North Alabama, and his first job came as a D.J in and around his state. He continued to work in the same role in many different radio stations before he met his partner Brian, and the two started a show together. Apart from his career, he has got a personal life that is also very well known to all.

With not much history of girlfriends and dating affairs from his past, he is married now to his wife Lynda Thompson for some years now. The couple has been together for more than 15 years now, although their exact date of marriage is unknown to us. Their married life has been a successful one, with no signs of divorce any time soon. They have had three children to strengthen their bond; Matthew, Amy and Katie. Despite rumors that accused mark to be sexually gay, he has countered them all and proved them pointless. With a height of 5 feet and 9 inches tall, there seem to be not a single photo in the media where he has exposed himself by going shirtless. Although you can find plenty of his pictures and videos on his Instagram account, and he has a large fan following on his Twitter as well. His net worth value of $4 million US dollars, speaks about his success itself.
